Major Fire Engulfs Gia Lai Workshop; Multiple Forces Mobilized to Extinguish Blaze, Save Assets

A significant fire erupted at the Tân Đại Hưng Company's workshop in the Nhơn Hội Industrial Zone, Gia Lai province, Vietnam, in the early hours of April 26, 2026. The blaze was so intense that a towering column of black smoke was visible from over 3 kilometers away, casting a dark pall over the night sky. This incident is particularly unfortunate as the company, specializing in interior and exterior furnishings, rattan furniture, and mechanical processing, had only begun operations in 2023 and was still recovering from infrastructure damage caused by a major storm in late 2025.

Responding swiftly to the emergency, the Gia Lai Provincial Firefighting and Rescue Police mobilized a substantial force. Dozens of specialized fire trucks and hundreds of officers and soldiers were dispatched to the scene. The severity of the fire prompted the Provincial Police Director to assign Deputy Director, Colonel Ngô Cự Vinh, to personally oversee the operation, directing the deployment of forces and equipment. Many businesses within the industrial zone also contributed resources and personnel, working alongside the professional firefighting teams to contain the inferno.

Through the coordinated efforts of the provincial police, local authorities, neighboring businesses, and the company's own internal firefighting brigade, the blaze was brought under control by approximately 7 a.m. The operation successfully protected all personnel and salvaged a considerable volume of valuable assets and machinery. While the immediate threat has been neutralized, the cause and the full extent of the damage are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities. This fire represents a significant setback for Tân Đại Hưng Company, adding to the challenges it has already faced since its establishment.
