Major fire engulfs warehouse near Čakovec, explosions reported

Firefighters are currently battling a significant blaze at a packaging production and storage facility in the industrial zone of Pribislavec, near Čakovec, Croatia. The fire, which erupted around 4:20 PM on Tuesday, has produced a dense smoke cloud visible from kilometers away, affecting visibility in Pribislavec and Čakovec.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions and smelling a strong odor of burning plastic.
