Makinde, Olubadan mourn late veteran Oyo chief

Oyo State has lost a prominent figure with the passing of Chief Lekan Alabi, a veteran journalist, public affairs analyst, and elder statesman. Alabi died Saturday morning in Lagos at the age of 76.

He stressed that Alabi's wisdom, dignity, and commitment to Ibadanland's progress made him a significant figure within the traditional institution. Alabi served multiple former Oyo State governors as press secretary and was recognized for his deep knowledge and dedication to societal advancement.
