Malaysia is steadfastly maintaining its neutral and independent foreign policy, actively strengthening strategic relationships with all global powers, including major world players. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that this balanced approach allows Malaysia to engage effectively with both Eastern and Western nations while safeguarding its autonomy and sovereignty in charting its own course.

Anwar underscored the importance of international investor confidence for Malaysia's future economic growth. He noted that the US remains a primary trading partner and investor, alongside the increasing economic significance of China, India, and other regional nations. The presence of global technology and manufacturing firms expanding operations in Malaysia, he added, is a testament to the strong confidence in the country's investment ecosystem.

The US is currently still at the top position in terms of investment and trade with Malaysia. At the same time, we are also witnessing the increasing importance of China, India, and other countries that have close economic relations with Malaysia.

The Prime Minister also stressed that the government is continuously open to feedback and suggestions from industry players to enhance the investment environment and expedite project implementation. This open approach, coupled with Malaysia's commitment to fostering friendships and balanced diplomatic relations, bolsters international confidence and creates more opportunities for investment and trade.
