Malaysian stabbed in South Korea to be buried tonight

The body of Malaysian national Ahmad Shah Ahmad Ros, who died in a stabbing incident in South Korea, is expected to be buried tonight. His sister, Ain Sephia Ahmad Ros, confirmed that the deceased's remains departed from Incheon International Airport at 11 a.m. today.

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), several procedures will be completed before the body is transported to Masjid Bandar Tasik Puteri in Rawang for funeral prayers. "The body has just departed from the airport. God willing, after all arrival processes are completed, the body will be taken directly for burial," Ain Sephia stated.

The burial is scheduled to take place at the Tasik Puteri Muslim Cemetery after the Isyak prayer. Ahmad Shah was reportedly stabbed while attempting to de-escalate a group fight in South Korea. He had been working in the manufacturing sector there since 2019 and was injured fatally in the abdomen by a knife. He had gone to the scene of the fight with his wife after a friend, also a Malaysian, contacted him for help.
