Man accused of murdering his partner at Hanover rental house remanded

A US citizen faces a murder charge in Jamaica following the death of his partner, Kadian Bradshaw, in a Hanover rental house. Aldean Jermaine Blake, 36, appeared in the Hanover Parish Court on Friday, where he was remanded in custody. He is also charged with immigration act breaches.

Blake, who holds a US passport, had been in Jamaica since October 5 and was due to leave on April 3. The couple, along with a young baby believed to be their child, were staying in the Bulls Bay area at the time of the incident. Blake was represented by attorney Tamika Davis.

Police reports indicate an altercation occurred around 2:00 am, resulting in Bradshaw's injury. Concerns were raised when Blake was seen walking along the main road towards Lucea with the baby in the predawn hours, prompting police intervention that led to his apprehension.
