Man arrested in Bali for ex-girlfriend's kidnapping

A man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in West Bandung, Indonesia, has been apprehended by police in Bali. The suspect, identified as MRSA, 23, was arrested in North Denpasar after allegedly abducting the victim, MN, on July 12, 2026.

Following the abduction, the victim was taken to her ex-boyfriend's hometown in Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra. She was eventually returned to her family several days prior to the suspect's arrest. Police located MRSA in Denpasar, Bali, and took him into custody with assistance from local law enforcement.
