Man arrested in Monterrey in connection with fatal push of elderly man into trailer's path

Monterrey police have arrested a man suspected of involvement in the death of an elderly pedestrian who was allegedly pushed into the path of an oncoming trailer. The suspect, identified as Héctor Iván "N", was apprehended on Saturday in the city center.

According to the State Investigation Agency, the man is believed to be connected to the incident where the elderly victim was intentionally shoved towards the trailer, resulting in him being run over and killed. The exact circumstances leading to the alleged push are still under investigation.

Following his capture, Héctor Iván "N" was handed over to the Public Ministry for legal proceedings. During the arrest, authorities also seized several doses of a substance consistent with marijuana, leading to further charges related to drug possession.
