Man Blocks Traffic, Allegedly Threatens Mother and Child; Bystanders Reportedly Fail to Act

A disturbing incident in the Travno neighborhood of Zagreb has alarmed residents after a man allegedly engaged in aggressive behavior following a traffic disagreement.

According to witness accounts posted in a local Facebook group, the man, driving a Mercedes, reportedly blocked traffic before approaching another vehicle occupied by a mother and child. He is accused of pounding on the driver's side window with his fist, verbally abusing the woman and child, and making threats. The frightened mother reportedly locked her doors while the man continued his aggressive display.

The situation escalated when the woman attempted to drive away. Witnesses claim the man exited his vehicle again, banging on the hood and a tire of her car. The author of the post expressed shock and dismay that numerous bystanders allegedly failed to intervene during the confrontation.

"It all happened in front of people, and no one stopped to help," the post stated. "Luckily, the glass didn't break and no one was injured." The incident has sparked concern among residents about public safety and the apparent lack of bystandess' willingness to assist in such situations.
