Man carrying concealed firearm arrested outside Trump's golf course in California

A man carrying a concealed firearm was arrested outside the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on Sunday. Federal agents alerted authorities to a suspicious individual on the property, later identified as 38-year-old Jeanine John Taele of Downey. The suspect was reportedly taking photographs and videos, appearing to monitor security activities. The US Secret Service is investigating whether the individual posed any threat to President Trump, who was traveling to California at the time of the arrest. Trump is scheduled to attend a Republican National Committee dinner at the golf course on Tuesday. Taele faces charges of carrying a concealed firearm and possession of prohibited ammunition. Investigators also recovered an illegally modified AR-style rifle, body armor, high-capacity magazines, ammunition, and notebooks containing "concerning statements" from his residence. The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and the US Secret Service are assisting in the ongoing investigation, with the possibility of further charges.
