Man dies after apparent self-inflicted gunshot at Indios Verdes bus terminal

An incident at the Indios Verdes bus terminal in Mexico City has resulted in one death and one injury. Authorities report that a man died from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound within the terminal.

Adding to the violence, another man was discovered with a stab wound to his neck. This injured individual told police that the deceased attacked him with a knife while he was in the process of buying a bus ticket to Ixhuatlán de Madero.

Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before transporting him to a hospital for specialized medical care. His current condition has not yet been reported. The area was secured by security forces while the Public Ministry initiated an investigation into the events.

The Prosecutor's Office of Mexico City will conduct the necessary forensic examinations to clarify the sequence of events and determine the circumstances surrounding the aggression and the subsequent shooting. The incident occurred in the Santa Isabel Tola neighborhood of the Gustavo A. Madero alcaldía.
