Man faces prison for stalking Danish football club

A 28-year-old man has been charged with stalking Danish football club Vejle Boldklub over a period of nearly six months in 2025. According to prosecutors, the man sent numerous emails and text messages to employees, board members, and management. He also allegedly made several Facebook posts about the club and commented on its social media posts. The content of these communications has not been disclosed. Furthermore, he reportedly appeared at Vejle Stadium and training grounds despite the existing order.

Vejle Boldklub, which played in the Superliga this year but has been relegated to the first division, has not had the man's connection to the club or professional football revealed. The 28-year-old is a resident of Vejle. The case is scheduled for two days in October, with prosecutors pushing for a prison sentence. The man's stance on the charges remains unknown.
