Two More Arrested in North Jutland Arson Cases

North Jutland Police have arrested two men suspected of involvement in two suspected arson attacks in the region in late March. The arrests bring the total number of individuals detained in connection with the incidents to five.

The two arrested men, aged 25 and 18, are suspected of playing a direct role in the fires that occurred in Kølvrå on March 26 and Dronninglund on March 30. These incidents are believed to be linked to an ongoing conflict between the Comanches MC biker club and the now-banned Loyal To Familia (LTF).

One of the fires, in Kølvrå, resulted in the death of a dog. The Dronninglund fire was described as explosive. Police are treating the incidents as part of a larger gang dispute, which also includes a shooting incident on April 7 targeting a tattoo parlor in Aalborg owned by the president of Comanches MC in the city. Three people are currently in custody for that shooting, which police consider an attempted murder.

The two men arrested for the arsons will appear in court for a preliminary hearing, where prosecutors are expected to request that the proceedings be held behind closed doors to protect the ongoing investigation.
