Man Fatally Shot in Pedro Juan Caballero

A fatal shooting occurred in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, leaving a 40-year-old man dead. Carlos Enrique Rodas, who had no prior criminal record according to police, was standing outside his home with his 10-year-old son when the attack took place.

Witness accounts and initial reports suggest that a single individual on a motorcycle approached Rodas. The assailant reportedly drew a shotgun, fired at the victim, and then fled the scene. Rodas, gravely wounded, attempted to escape but collapsed in nearby undergrowth and died.
