Man Rescued After Falling Into Sea From Busan Pier

A man in his 50s was rescued from the sea off a pier in Busan after falling in while apparently sleeping. The incident occurred around 8:53 AM on the 15th, prompting a report to the coast guard by a witness.

Coast guard officials responded to the scene and found the man, identified as A, in the water. Another individual, B, also in his 50s, had jumped into the sea to attempt a rescue. Both men were brought safely to shore.

Initially unconscious, man A received first aid and regained consciousness before being transported to a nearby hospital. Man B, who was wearing a life vest, sustained no apparent injuries. The coast guard is investigating the exact circumstances, believing A may have fallen accidentally while intoxicated and sleeping on the pier.
