Man's terrorist joke at Prague airport cancels family vacation

A man's attempt at humor at Prague's Václav Havel Airport backfired spectacularly, costing him and his family their planned vacation. The incident occurred during security checks when the man, en route to Istanbul, was informed his power bank did not meet airline regulations.

Irritated by the issue, the man declared himself a terrorist. This statement immediately triggered a response from the alien police and bomb disposal units. Although their thorough search of the man and his luggage yielded no dangerous items, the airline decided to exclude him from travel due to the security risk.

"Police officers and airport security cannot and must not evaluate whether it is an exaggeration, frustration, or a joke," stated Josef Urban, spokesperson for the alien police. "Any such statement leads to the intervention of bomb disposal experts, delays, and usually immediate cancellation of the vacation at the passenger's expense."

As the man was traveling with his two minor children, the ill-conceived joke ended the family's holiday plans abruptly. They left the airport accompanied by the police, a stark reminder of the serious consequences such remarks carry in airport environments.
