Man with weapons bag linked to 'Doo Chyngyz' detained in Bishkek

Bishkek police arrested a 43-year-old man with a history of criminal offenses in connection with illegal weapons possession. Officers stopped a Toyota Corolla and discovered a sports bag containing two pistols, a submachine gun with ammunition, a sawed-off shotgun, and four stun grenades. A mask and camouflage uniform were also found.

The suspect, who has multiple criminal records, is linked by authorities to an organized crime group. He told investigators that about four years ago, a criminal figure known as Doo Chyngyz asked him to temporarily hide a bag. The man stated he became frightened after discovering weapons inside and buried the bag in a forest belt. He later learned of Zhumagulov's arrest and subsequent death.
