Manas Airport installs fourth passenger boarding bridge as part of modernization

Manas International Airport has enhanced its passenger infrastructure with the installation of a fourth passenger boarding bridge. Manufactured by Shenzhen CIMC-TianDa Airport Support LTD, the new bridge facilitates direct movement between the terminal and aircraft. This upgrade is expected to improve passenger comfort and safety, particularly during challenging weather conditions.

The addition of this new bridge is a key component of Manas Airport's ongoing modernization program. The airport aims to meet contemporary international standards through significant infrastructure upgrades. The large-scale modernization project, initiated on May 7, 2025, has already seen the terminal expanded by over 22,000 square meters.

Further improvements include an increase in boarding gates from eight to 13, a modernized baggage handling system, and a near doubling of parking spaces from approximately 700 to 1,500. The project also includes the construction of a multilevel parking facility and a new access road, collectively aimed at accommodating growing passenger traffic and international flight handling.
