Manchester City sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for up to £65 million

Iliman Ndiaye says he has spent his career waiting for the chance to join a club like Manchester City. The Senegal winger completed a deadline-day move from Everton worth up to £65 million.

City will pay £60 million up front, with a further £5 million available in add-ons. Ndiaye has signed a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.

Ndiaye joined Everton from Marseille in 2024 and made 74 appearances for the club, scoring 21 goals. Tottenham had agreed terms with Everton on Friday night, with a possible Richarlison move in the opposite direction. The deal collapsed after Richarlison failed to agree personal terms with his former club.

The transfer came on the same day Manchester City agreed to pay a joint-British record £125 million for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Fernandez is set to become City’s eighth summer signing, following Elliot Anderson, Geronimo Rulli, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Allan Elias, Jeremy Monga and Pierce Charles.
