Maribel Guardia Revises Will, Will Not Leave All Assets to Grandson

Mexican actress Maribel Guardia has decided to alter her will, announcing that she will no longer bequeath her entire estate to her grandson, José Julián. While she affirmed that a substantial part of her assets will still go to the child, she indicated that not all of it would be left to him.

I will take some precautions, I no longer plan to leave him all my assets, but a good part; there was a part that I considered leaving him, but now I won't.

Guardia's decision comes after Addis Tuñón was appointed by a judge as José Julián's testamentary guardian. The actress voiced her discontent with Tuñón's role, suggesting the new guardian is aligned with her former daughter-in-law, Imelda Garza Tuñón, who is reportedly contesting the inheritance intended for the child. "This lady is so happy, like the first lady of the republic, 'my first motion is that they dismiss Marco,'" Guardia said, mimicking Tuñón.

Guardia clarified that neither she nor her husband, Marco Chacón, have any desire to remain as executors of the inheritance designated for Julián Figueroa's son. She expressed surprise at Tuñón's appointment, noting that Addis Tuñón never visited or interacted with José Julián during the eight years he lived with Guardia.
