Maribor Overcomes Bravo 3-1 in Spectator-Free Match

Maribor staged a comeback to defeat Bravo 3-1 in their latest home league match, played behind closed doors at Ljudski vrt stadium. The win, secured with goals from Tio Cipor, an own goal by Bravo's Štravs, and Dario Vizinger, keeps Maribor firmly at the top of the Slovenian PrvaLiga.

The match saw Maribor overcome an early deficit after Divine Omoregie put Bravo ahead in the 13th minute. The home team, playing without fans due to a five-match ban from the previous season, struggled to break down Bravo's defense in the first half. Maribor's equalizer came in the 59th minute from Cipor, followed by the own goal in the 78th minute that tilted the game in their favor. Vizinger sealed the victory in the 82nd minute.

The turning point in the second half was the expulsion of Bravo's James Arinze, who received two yellow cards between the 58th and 65th minutes, leaving his team with a numerical disadvantage. This allowed Maribor to assert dominance and secure the crucial three points. With this third win of the season, Maribor holds a three-point lead over second-placed Koper.
