Markets and Some Retail Outlets in Talas to Close for Two Days

Talas’s central market and several retail outlets will suspend operations on September 10 and 11, the city administration said.

The two-day closure will affect clothing and building-materials stores, auto-parts shops, tire-repair facilities and other retail businesses. Cafes, other food-service establishments and grocery stores will remain open.

The municipality urged residents to purchase necessary goods in advance. Talas is scheduled to host large-scale Independence Day celebrations on September 11, with participation from global stars.
