Marmaray fight: Attackers assault security and cleaning staff

A violent altercation erupted on an Istanbul Marmaray train, causing panic among passengers. The dispute began between two individuals on a train waiting to depart from Pendik station and quickly escalated into a physical fight. Witnesses reported one of the passengers shouting "Bring the knife."

Security personnel intervened to separate the brawlers. While one passenger remained on the train, the other was escorted to the platform with a companion. Tensions flared again on the platform when one of the removed passengers punched a security guard, leading to further scuffles. A cleaning staff member also reacted angrily after being hit, questioning the attacker and then slapping him.

Authorities eventually subdued the aggressive individuals with the help of bystanders and handed them over to police. The entire incident, including the physical altercations and the intervention of staff, was captured on mobile phones by onlookers.
