Martina Tomčić's Son, a Budding Filmmaker with a Love for Heavy Metal, Turns 22

Operatic singer and "Supertalent" judge Martina Tomčić Moskaljov is beaming with pride as her son, Noa, approaches his 22nd birthday. Noa, the elder of Tomčić's two children with husband Ženjo Moskaljov, is pursuing a path in filmmaking. He has a passion for heavy metal music and has already directed a short psychological thriller/horror film titled "Mors Certissima." His interests also extend to giant monsters and anime.

Tomčić, who also has a six-year-younger daughter, Rebeka, emphasizes the importance of family above all else. She stated that she transforms into a "lioness" if her husband or children are threatened. Despite her public profile, Tomčić is fiercely protective of her children's privacy, especially during their teenage years. She limits discussions about them to protect their right to a private upbringing and does not compel them to attend her performances, respecting their choices.

There are situations when they are not happy that their mother is a public figure. That is one of my most painful topics. My children could not choose what I would do, and they are not the only ones. Therefore, I speak minimally about them because they have the right to an unburdened, anonymous upbringing. Especially in puberty.

While Noa is exploring filmmaking, his younger sister Rebeka has found her passion in dance. Tomčić proudly supports Rebeka's artistic endeavors, including her public performances and competitions. The singer believes that children's actions and behavior reflect their upbringing and serve as a mirror to the family. Noa previously attended a school for graphics, design, and media production before enrolling at Vern University.
