Mary Linda: When and where the funeral of the great singer will take place

Mary Linda, a celebrated voice in Greek music, has died at the age of 91. The beloved singer passed away peacefully early Wednesday, July 22, at the Athens Geriatric Home, where she had resided since October 2018.

Her funeral is scheduled for Friday, July 24. The service will take place at the chapel of the Athens Geriatric Home, a location chosen by Linda herself. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the First Cemetery of Athens. The Geriatric Home announced her passing, noting she died "calmly and peacefully" with her daughter and the facility's staff by her side.

Linda's career spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on Greek popular music. She was known for her distinctive vocal style, which resonated with generations of listeners. Her passing marks the end of an era for many fans and colleagues.
