Masai Ujiri's Giants of Africa Unveils 47th and 48th Basketball Courts in Sierra Leone, Guinea

Giants of Africa, the non-profit organization spearheaded by NBA executive Masai Ujiri, continues its vital mission to empower African youth through sport with the recent unveiling of its 47th and 48th community basketball courts. These new facilities, located at the Murialdo Institute of Entrepreneurship, Technology and Management in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and Université Gamal Abdel Nasser de Conakry in Guinea, represent significant milestones as they mark the organization's debut in both countries.

The 'Built Within' initiative, a commitment to building 100 basketball courts across the continent, is steadily progressing towards its ambitious goal. The strategic placement of these courts in communities like Kissy, Sierra Leone, which has a large population of women, children, and the elderly facing economic hardship, underscores Giants of Africa's dedication to fostering long-term community impact. The inclusion of women's coaching clinics at both unveilings highlights the organization's strong emphasis on gender equity, ensuring that these spaces are inclusive and beneficial for all.
