Matsu's Dongju Health Center Relocates to Enhance Medical Services

The Dongju Health Center on Matsu's Dongju Island has officially relocated, ushering in a new era for the island's healthcare services. The move from its old premises to a modern new facility signifies a substantial step forward in enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical care for the local population.

The successful relocation was a testament to extensive collaboration. The Lienchiang County Health Bureau coordinated the complex operation, receiving crucial assistance from military personnel, the Taipei City Hospital's information center, Chunghwa Telecom, and various system providers for medical records and imaging. Construction firms and equipment vendors also played vital roles in ensuring a smooth transition.

While the installation of air conditioning equipment was delayed due to Typhoon Bavi, it is anticipated to be completed within the following week.
