Mauricio Macri tours provinces to revitalize PRO party and explore alliances

Former Argentine President Mauricio Macri is actively engaging in a tour of Santa Fe and Entre Ríos provinces, signaling a strategic effort to reset the PRO party's national standing and begin forging potential electoral alliances amidst an uncertain political landscape.

During his visit, Macri met with provincial governors Maximiliano Pullaro of Santa Fe and Rogelio Frigerio of Entre Ríos. Macri praised Governor Pullaro, who is seeking re-election, and discussed provincial politics, including potential alliances.

Macri stressed the importance of exemplary conduct for politicians, stating, "People do not tolerate that there is no exemplary behavior." This remark appears to be a veiled reference to corruption allegations that have recently implicated figures within the current government.
