England secured the victory with goals from Declan Rice (3rd minute), Ezri Konsa (18th minute), a hat-trick from Bukayo Saka (37th, 45th, and 87th minutes, including a penalty), and Jude Bellingham in the 90th added minute. France's other goals came from Bradley Barcola (54th minute) and Ousmane Dembélé (90+6th minute).

Another significant milestone in the match was Bukayo Saka's first goal against France, which marked the 300th goal of the 2026 World Cup competition. The 23rd edition of the tournament commenced on June 11 at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and is scheduled to conclude this Sunday with the final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
