The diplomatic process, he noted, demanded "utmost confidentiality, responsibility and caution," with Pakistan acting as a "responsible mediator" by refraining from discussing specifics to prevent speculation.

Muslim-majority countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, were also commended for their "masterly leadership, restraint and strategic patience" in helping to prevent a conflict that could have pitted Muslim nations against each other. On the matter of the Indus Waters Treaty, the official highlighted Pakistan's "highly successful legal and diplomatic response" to alleged Indian violations, asserting that Pakistan would take necessary actions to protect its interests. The official also alleged that India was attempting to incite unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to mask its failures in Indian-occupied Kashmir, emphasizing that reserved seats in the AJK Legislative Assembly are constitutionally tied to Kashmiris' right to self-determination.
