Medina Governor: Education Builds People and Shapes the Future

Education is a foundation for building people and shaping the future, Medina Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz said during a visit to a school in the region.

The governor joined students at Zaid bin Sahl al-Ansari School during the first week of the new academic year. He was accompanied by Nasser al-Abdulkarim, director general of education in Medina.

Prince Salman congratulated students, their parents and education personnel in the region on the start of the 1448 AH academic year. He wished them a year marked by success and excellence.

During the visit, the governor attended introductory-week activities for early-grade students. He also reviewed the achievements of students who had won international competition awards, describing their results as evidence of the abilities and talents found among the region’s young people. He further examined three student projects that had won awards in competitions.
