No Age Limit or Qudurat and Tahsili Requirement for Overseas Scholarships

Applicants to Saudi Arabia’s Pioneers Track scholarship can apply without meeting a specific age limit or submitting Qudurat and Tahsili test scores, according to the Education Ministry.

The track covers 30 global universities, and applications remain open until Nov. 15 of the current Gregorian year. Government and private-sector employees can apply if they meet the general scholarship requirements and the conditions specific to the track.

The ministry said the children and spouses of scholarship students may also apply under the rules of their chosen track. Children may accompany the scholarship student as well.

Applicants heading to universities in Britain or the United States do not need to complete a year of English-language study first. Those accepted can cancel their scholarship application, and applicants do not need to hold an entry visa when applying. They can select the option stating that a visa is not required to complete registration procedures.

The ministry also said scholarship periods follow the rules of the educational institution. Undergraduate study may receive up to five years of scholarship support.
