Meditasi Drummer Raja Azreen Dies After Collapsing on Stage

Raja Azreen, the drummer for the Malaysian band Meditasi, has died after collapsing on stage during a performance. The incident occurred Saturday night at the Rock Festival Teruntum in Kuantan, Pahang.

Fellow artist Zack, vocalist of the band Masa Legac, shared the sad news on social media. "Assalamualaikum. I received the sad news that the drummer for the band Meditasi, Abang Azreen, has returned to Allah's mercy last night while performing at the Rock Festival Teruntum," Zack wrote. "Let us all offer a reading of al-Fatihah for the deceased and extend our condolences to his entire family."

Meditasi, originally from Kampung Gali Hilir, Raub, Pahang, was active in the local music scene in the 1990s. They are known for popular songs such as "Bidadari," "Hukuman Pada Pesona," and "Biar Pedih Kasih Memanjang." The deceased's body was taken to Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, for funeral prayers at the Bangi Perdana Surau.
