Mediterranean Games: Greek Men's and Women's Handball Teams Start Strong

Greece's national handball teams, both men's and women's, have started their Mediterranean Games campaign in Taranto with decisive victories. The men's team achieved a significant win against Tunisia, defeating them 37-29 in a performance that puts them in a strong position for semi-final qualification.

The Greek men's squad, led by coach Giorgos Zaravinas, controlled the game from the outset, dictating the pace and maintaining their lead throughout the match. Key offensive contributions came from Pagiatis and Stathis, who each scored five goals, supported by four goals apiece from Tzimboulas, Koukoulas, Roussos, and Tzortzini.
