Melaka State Election Expected Within Two Months, PN Urges Full Preparedness

The chairman of Perikatan Nasional (PN), Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, anticipates the Melaka state election will take place in less than two months. He stressed the urgency for PN's machinery to be fully prepared for the upcoming polls, urging coalition members to utilize the remaining time effectively. "I don't think it will be more than two months until the election date," he stated, emphasizing that the 60 days leading up to the election should be viewed as a critical period for determining Melaka's future government.

Ahmad Samsuri called for a more organized, disciplined, and strategic approach from the PN coalition to gain the full trust of Melaka's residents. He highlighted the importance of presenting credible, integrity-driven candidates capable of addressing the people's issues. The PN chairman advised against getting caught up in political rhetoric, urging the focus to remain on providing tangible solutions to the problems faced by the populace.

Furthermore, Ahmad Samsuri encouraged PN's campaign teams not to dismiss any area as unwinnable. He believes that with disciplined execution, strategic planning, and genuine effort, the political landscape in Melaka can shift rapidly. He also pointed out that if 1,000 workers can convince one voter daily, their collective effort could reach tens of thousands within the 60-day timeframe. PN's goal, he reiterated, is not just to form a government but to serve the people of Melaka responsibly.
