Merah Putih Cooperative Manager Candidates Must Undergo Military Training

Aspiring managers for the Merah Putih Cooperative in 2026 face a unique requirement: mandatory basic military training as part of the reserve component. This directive, announced on the National Human Resources Procurement Selection Committee's website, mandates that successful candidates attend the training on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

The Ministry of Defense, through the Ministry's General Secretariat's Head of Defense Information Bureau, Brig. Gen. TNI Rico Ricardo Sirait, confirmed preparations for this educational program. Sirait stated he would seek further details from the National Reserve Agency of the Ministry of Defense.

During a preparatory meeting on June 10, 2026, Deputy Minister of Defense Donny Ermawan affirmed the ministry's readiness to conduct the military education. He highlighted the support of 67 educational units spread across Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua, aiming to cultivate superior, character-driven human resources to bolster national development.

Candidates are required to sign a statement of willingness to undergo both the reserve component military training and managerial and competency training. Failure to register at the designated time and location will result in disqualification. The selection committee has finalized training locations based on needs and capacity, with no changes permitted.
