Messenia wildfire prompts emergency alert for residents

A fire has erupted in an agricultural and forest area in Mesochori, Messenia, prompting a large-scale response from emergency services. The blaze is being tackled by 48 firefighters operating 17 vehicles, alongside two ground teams from the 9th Special Unit for Immediate Operations (EMODΕ).
