Metrobús extends service until 1 AM for Mexico vs. England match; special route to stadium

Mexico City's Metrobús system is extending its operating hours and introducing a special route to facilitate fan transportation for the high-profile Mexico vs. England match on Sunday, July 5.

The entire Metrobús network will remain operational until 1:00 AM on Monday, July 6, allowing attendees to return home after the game. This extended service aims to ease the logistical challenges for the thousands of fans expected to attend the event.

In addition to the extended hours, Metrobús will deploy a special service on Line 5. This route will connect the Cañaverales station to Paseo Acoxpa, offering a more direct connection to the Estadio Ciudad de México. Fans can access the stadium by walking from the Paseo Acoxpa station via "La Última Milla."

The special Line 5 route will operate exclusively on July 5, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Passengers can use their MI Card or credit and debit bank cards for payment, with a fare of 6 pesos. The general extension of service across all seven lines remains contingent on prevailing road conditions.
