Mexico City Mayor Delivers Seed Capital Support to Women Entrepreneurs

Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada has highlighted the success of the "Capital Semilla" program, which provides crucial financial support to women entrepreneurs in the capital. The initiative aims to empower women by giving them the resources needed to start or expand their businesses, fostering economic independence and growth within the city.

Brugada reported that the program has already extended its reach to 2,830 women across Mexico City. This significant number reflects a strong commitment to supporting female-led enterprises. The mayor further stated that the program is on track to assist a total of 4,000 women by the close of the current year, indicating a sustained effort to broaden its impact.

The "Capital Semilla" initiative represents a substantial investment in the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a total allocation of 100 million pesos.
