Mexico City's Zócalo Fan Fest hailed as most successful World Cup venue

Mexico City's Zócalo Fan Fest has become the most successful World Cup fan zone, attracting 412,000 visitors since its opening, Mayor Clara Brugada announced. She described the venue as having the best atmosphere, highest public participation, and greatest enthusiasm among all 16 host cities.

Brugada emphasized that her administration aimed to make Mexico City the "best host" for the World Cup and believes this goal is being achieved. The success extends beyond the Zócalo, encompassing 18 other football festivals across the city. She noted the integration of events within the World Cup, stadium activities, and the Zócalo's large-scale festivities contribute to the city's status as the most successful host.
