MHP Deputy Chairman announces significant legal processes concerning FETÖ

İsmail Özdemir, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Kayseri Provincial Deputy, has issued a strong statement regarding the persistent presence and influence of the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in Kayseri. He described the city as a crucial center and target area for the organization, expressing disappointment with the limited success in eradicating its presence. Özdemir highlighted that FETÖ has infiltrated numerous institutions and continues to operate under the guise of normalcy, a situation evidenced by ongoing legal investigations.

Özdemir pointed to internal issues within the anti-FETÖ efforts, suggesting that certain relationship networks and personal agendas have undermined the fight against the organization. He criticized the "us vs. them" mentality and self-serving approaches that have hindered the purification of the city from FETÖ's extensions and affiliates. The MHP, he asserted, has consistently opposed such detrimental practices.

Furthermore, Özdemir raised concerns about individuals with confirmed FETÖ affiliations, who have reportedly been integrated into certain non-governmental organizations and the judiciary. He stated that providing references for these individuals, even those flagged by judicial bodies for their links to FETÖ, is damaging to both Kayseri and Turkey as a whole.

Looking ahead, Özdemir announced that significant legal processes directly relevant to Turkey's national agenda are imminent. He suggested these upcoming legal actions will demonstrate the state's continued legal resolve against FETÖ, exposing individuals who may have sought to conceal their actions. The MHP official emphasized that these developments will reveal the extent of betrayal by those currently held in repute, while also highlighting the misjudgment of those driven by personal ambition.
