MHP Dissolves Three More Provincial Organizations

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) continues its internal restructuring by dissolving three more provincial organizations: Kırıkkale, Zonguldak, and Kocaeli. This move follows similar actions taken in 15 other provinces, including Istanbul, Kütahya, and Gaziantep, since April 2026.

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın announced the dissolutions, stating they were made in accordance with articles 52 and 54 of the party's bylaws. These articles grant the party leadership the authority to make such organizational changes.

The Kırıkkale Provincial Organization of the Nationalist Movement Party, the Zonguldak Provincial Organization, and the Kocaeli Provincial Organization have been dissolved in accordance with the authority granted by articles 52 and 54 of our party bylaws and the relevant article of our bylaws.

Following the dissolution of the provincial bodies, new appointments were made. Mekki Varol has been appointed as the new Provincial Chairman for Kırıkkale, Orhan Korkmaz for Zonguldak, and Enes Emengen for Kocaeli. The party has not provided specific reasons for these latest dissolutions, but they occur amidst a period of internal shifts within the MHP, following the resignation of another Deputy Chairman, İzzet Ulvi Yönter.
