Middle East Tensions Escalate as U.S. Issues Global Alert to Citizens

The United States has issued a global alert, advising its citizens to maintain high vigilance regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East. The State Department's warning comes amid ongoing military actions between the U.S. and Iran, including a series of U.S. airstrikes targeting Iran. This heightened alert follows recent Iranian attacks that resulted in the deaths of three U.S. service members.

According to reports, two U.S. soldiers died after Iran attacked a military base in Jordan on January 17. Another U.S. service member was killed on January 18 while handling explosives from a downed Iranian drone in northern Iraq. The U.S. military has conducted airstrikes against Iran for 10 consecutive days, with the latest occurring on January 20.
