Milena Quiroga to Seek Federal Analysis of Video Showing Banners Against Her in BCS

Milena Quiroga Romero, a candidate vying to lead the Fourth Transformation in Baja California Sur, announced she will seek a federal expert's analysis of a video related to banners and messages displayed against her on June 15. Quiroga aims to incorporate this audiovisual material as evidence in the ongoing investigation, seeking to determine its authenticity, integrity, origin, and traceability, while also identifying the individuals depicted.

The aspirant emphasized the need for a rigorous investigation into this "new element," stating, "We want to know who participated, how this operation was organized, and who was behind it. We don't seek speculation or premature judgments; we want proof." She plans to submit this request to the Attorney General's Office of Baja California Sur to ensure the video is integrated into the investigation and its chain of custody is preserved, all while respecting the presumption of innocence and due process.

Furthermore, Quiroga requested that the events be reviewed with a gender perspective to ascertain if the investigated conduct could constitute political violence against women or other offenses defined by law. She asserted that intimidation, disinformation, or political confrontation tactics should not be used as competitive mechanisms, suggesting these actions aim to damage the image of President Claudia Sheinbaum's political project.

"They will not intimidate or silence us. Let it be investigated who executed this operation, who organized it, and who was behind it. We will respond with evidence, institutions, and strict adherence to the law," Quiroga concluded, underscoring her commitment to a legal and evidence-based resolution.
