Mili Poljak reaches San Marino Challenger final

Croatian tennis player Mili Poljak has reached the final of the ATP Challenger 125 tournament in San Marino, continuing his strong performance on the tour. Poljak, who entered the tournament through qualifying, defeated Peru's Juan Pablo Varillas 7-5, 6-4 in the semifinals.

This achievement marks Poljak's fourth appearance in a Challenger final and his second this season. He previously won the Split Open, securing both the singles and doubles titles. His success in San Marino is particularly noteworthy as he advanced from the qualifying rounds.

Poljak is set to face the winner of the match between top seed Facundo Diaz Acosta of Argentina and Vilius Gaubas of Lithuania in the final. Regardless of the final result, Poljak is guaranteed a significant climb in the ATP rankings, moving up nearly 100 places by reaching the final and potentially around 150 positions if he wins the title, which would mark a career-best ranking.
