Minibus Overturns in Turkey, Injuring Five Including Four Children

A minibus carrying passengers returning from a local soccer match overturned near Tepebaşı village in Turkey's Hasankeyf district, resulting in injuries to five people, including four children.

The accident happened during the night when the driver of the minibus, identified by the license plate 47 KU 631, lost control of the vehicle. The minibus veered off the road and plunged into a ravine.

Emergency health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene following the incident. The injured passengers received initial medical attention at the site before being transported to hospitals for further treatment. Four children, identified as M.Y. (7), A.T. (10), Ş.A. (11), and Ş.A. (12), were taken to Gercüş State Hospital. A fifth injured individual, whose identity has not yet been released, was transported to Hasankeyf State Hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident while the injured are continuing their treatment at the hospitals.
