Mirtha Legrand, Graciela Borges, and Adrián Suar attend Carlos Rottemberg's book presentation

Esteemed Argentine theater producer Carlos Rottemberg celebrated five decades in the industry with the launch of his new book, "50 años de teatrista y algo más," at Buenos Aires' historic Liceo Theater.

The presentation, held at the venue where Rottemberg staged iconic plays like "Parque Lezama," honored his extensive career as a producer and theater entrepreneur. The event was moderated by journalist Any Ventura and LA NACION columnist Pablo Sirvén. Rottemberg's family, including his wife Karina and children Tomás, Nicolás, and Matilda, were present to support him.

A notable gathering of Argentine celebrities and industry professionals attended the event. Among the guests were actors Graciela Borges, Eduardo Blanco, Jean Pierre Noer, Antonio Grimau, Campi, Osvaldo Santoro, José María Listorti, Nora Carpena, Boy Olmi, and Mauricio Dayub. Producers Daniel Grinbank and his wife Andrea Pietra, Adrián Suar, and Sebastián Blutrach, president of Aadet, were also in attendance. Rottemberg's ex-wife, actress Linda Peretz, was also present.

The most distinguished guest was undoubtedly Mirtha Legrand, the iconic television host, who arrived accompanied by her friend Héctor Vidal Rivas. Legrand, dressed in an elegant cream-colored suit, occupied a specially reserved box. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the music of Ennio Morricone, featured in the film "Cinema Paradiso," a nod to Rottemberg's own narrative arc. Ventura described Rottemberg as someone who "has no other side," while Sirvén highlighted the book's blend of industry insights and personal anecdotes. The prologue, written by the late actor Luis Brandoni, was read by his partner, Saula Benavente, recalling Rottemberg's directness and his role during a turbulent period in Argentina's history.
