Miss Universe Mexico final set for Saturday; Fátima Bosch to crown successor

Mexico is set to crown its new Miss Universe representative this Saturday, August 29, in a grand finale that will see the current Miss Universe, Fátima Bosch, pass on the crown. The winner will go on to represent Mexico at the international Miss Universe competition scheduled for November.

The pageant has already commenced with preliminary events, including the traditional costume competition where 32 contestants showcased their states' unique attire. A swimwear competition is also scheduled for Friday. The final gala, however, will be broadcast live from the Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.

For those wishing to watch the crowning moment, the event will be streamed live starting at 6:30 pm local time on the official Miss Universe YouTube channel. Unlike previous years, the final will not be broadcast on open television. The host for the evening will be Clovis Niennow, a well-known presenter.

The judging panel for this year's competition comprises seven notable personalities, including Mexican model Daniela Cosío, entrepreneur Ilda Ledesma, Chilean model Inna Moll, official Miss Universe Mexico plastic surgeon Dr. Luis Gil, Miss Universe Cuba 2025 Lina Luances, and beauty pageant historian Pepe Medel. Aaron Mercury is also listed as a judge.

The 32 candidates have been staying at the luxury Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa, which will also serve as the venue for the final competition. The event promises to be a spectacular display of beauty, culture, and national pride as Mexico selects its next queen.
