Mitsotakis in Thessaloniki: Schedule includes hospital visit and major policy speech

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s Thessaloniki schedule combines visits to public facilities, meetings with journalists and a major policy address at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair.

At 6:30 p.m., Mitsotakis is due to visit the Georgios Papanikolaou General Hospital of Thessaloniki to receive an update on the facility’s operations and needs. He will then visit the bioclimatic swimming center under construction in the municipality of Ampelokipi-Menemeni, followed by a visit to the area’s Fifth Primary School.

The prime minister will also attend a meeting with journalists organized by Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis at the Electra Palace hotel.

On Saturday morning, Mitsotakis is scheduled to meet the board of TIF-Helexpo and tour the pavilions of the 90th international fair. At 8 p.m., he will deliver the opening speech at the fair’s inauguration ceremony at the Ioannis Vellidis Conference Center. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Mitsotakis will hold a news conference at the same conference center at noon on Sunday. His speech is expected to focus on a package of measures estimated at close to €2 billion for 2027. He is also expected to discuss “Greece of 2030,” at a fair described as having a more pronounced pre-election character than previous editions.
