MLS Chicago Fire announce signing of Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski, Poland's all-time leading goal scorer, is set to play in Major League Soccer after signing a contract with the Chicago Fire through the 2027-28 campaign. The 37-year-old striker arrives from Barcelona, where he helped the team win the La Liga title last month.

Lewandowski boasts an illustrious career, having scored over 700 goals for both his country and club teams. He previously starred for Bayern Munich from 2014 to 2022, leading the German and Spanish leagues in scoring for eight consecutive years. His trophy cabinet includes a UEFA Champions League title, multiple league championships in Germany and Spain, and individual accolades like the Best FIFA Men's Player award in 2020 and 2021.
